I'm torn on whether the decision to move to the stadium was a good idea. I can see why they did it for pure spectacle. But seeing a guy give a political speech in a stadium where everybody agrees with him is also a little scary.

I watched it for maybe 30 seconds, and I'm trying to figure out how UHC is going to lower my premiums.

We have more wealth than any nation but the last 8 years have been a disaster? I am lost again.

Here's a serious question . . . Could the average American possibly have the attention span to sit through this entire speech?

I'm not endorsing the idea, but surely you see how that could be possible to some degree - though I guess that depends on how you define disaster.

I don't know how you guys are, from a guy watching a game being commentated by Fowler and Palmer.

Well I guess they could, when someone is promising them the Gov. is going to pay for everything for them..They will wake up sooner or later.

Yes, perhaps we need to define disaster. I doubt the majority of Americans have really been close enough to one to know what one is.

OK . . . The fireworks display and dramatic music is just comedy.

Is it still on?

In other news...USCe seems to have found a QB after the starter went out.

I love how Barack dismisses "politics of the past" while using the same rhetoric against Republicans that Democrats have been using for 70 years. Class warfare is politics of the past Barack. Involved governments don't work. How hard is it to figure out that more government= less prosperity? The economic community will not be accepting of this at all.
