Aggie Swag?

They barely had swag in the big 12.. and they sure won't have any in the SEC..

I'm kinda afraid of them being a sleeping giant. Some kids that were looking at Texas before may give A&M a look because they play in a superior conference. Also, with their intentions to expand their stadium, they're definitely looking to compete. Missouri, on the other hand...

Both schools are expanding their stadiums with the move.

(or at least, A&M's might be more in the 'considering it' stages; Missouri had more or less finalized/started regarding theirs)

After I spoke with the Corp of Cadets Commander last month, he informed me that essentially, they are taking the "corp block" and moving it one section over. This would provide room to accommodate the FTAB, as well as allow for additional seating for the rest. The change for the actual student section will be minimal.

Construction design companies have been contacted along with a panel composed of former students, admin, ect...

No formal proposal for the renovation/reconstruction of Kyle have been presented as they are still in open discussion on what "everyone" deems would be appropriate. Like the transition into the SEC, anything regarding changing Kyle Field is a "100 year decision".

I expect it to be handled appropriately.

Well, I knew there had been an issue being discussed about about the student section's placement in the stadium. Since I'm still newer to the Aggie lingo, that would be the corp block right?

(For those wondering) A&M has it's student section placed right behind the opponent's bench (correct Txvol?). The SEC has a bylaw policy that conflicts with this though (done, if I recall correctly, for safety/protection reasons of the athletes/fans)

Kyle Field is definitely not a oversized Conference USA stadium. I went there when Virginia Tech played there in 2002 and it is a great place to see a game. The tradition there is very strong and on par with SEC crowds.

I'm sure the crowds are fine. It still looks like it has very little character.

Lord knows there's plenty to make fun of about about little SIPster, but the character/tradition of their crowd isn't one of them.

My one and only point: their stadium is ugly. I'm sure the crowd in College Station is earth shattering. Is A&M the fanbase that throws tacos at each other?
