milo, a documentary would serve just as well, wouldn't it?

Not trying to start anything, I swear. But preserving it for for future generations does not require a star-studded cast and a million dollar budget.
Just my two cents, though.

You mean like it was in real life?  I guess that if you're going to do a movie about it, it might as well show what happened.

I agree that people shouldn't profit off of it, but tell that to the people who were selling the flags, the special coins etc.....

No I think what he means is that Oliver Stone has a history of revisionist filmmaking. Nothing he touches is without some kind of cooky conspiracy theory.

That stuff is fine as long as you know that's what you're getting. I think Stone takes himself a little too seriously.

You know that if Stone does it, he will document what happened and somehow there will be a back story about some American businessmen that orchestrated the attack in order to drive up the price of oil. :shakehead:

Sometimes that's what gets people to remember. Documentaries are barely ever remembered through generations, but big-budget flicks always are. Not that this will serve as the greatest account of what happened that day, but hopefully it will be good, passed on and get people in the future to spark an interest.
