Huh weird. Well, I would still like to see us snag him. What do you think the chances are Sab?
Next to nothing.

Yes he did, because he committed to us the night before the Army All-American game in texas.
No ish, Sherlock. You think I wasn't aware of that? Do you have any other information to make me aware of like Jacques Smith committing or anything? Is Tyler Bray on campus? Please, I'm dying to know!

He never de-committed from Baylor. Like I said.

Really? Pretty sure he " committed " to UT just before the Army game.

You too. Get on! :)

I can't believe some of you people. If these kids don't want to be Vols, eff 'em. If they were coming here just for the coaches and not because of the tradition then they are no better than the Orgeron and Kiffin.

Yeah, why in the world would 17-18 year old kids go somewhere where they feel comfortable with the coaches, especially if it's a long way from home?

In case you didn't know, a recruit and his family's comfort level with a coaching staff is the major reason a kid chooses a school. To think otherwise is naive.

Whatever man, I know you like to think your the next Todd McShay or something but there is no need to act like that.

Stop taking it so seriously. I was only joking. See? I even put a little smiley face on the end like the girly men do.

I do not care why they commit as long as they can play. It is good to feel comfortable with your coaches AND with the school. We had and are putting together another all star staff for this reason. There would be no point in recruiting if these kids committed to a school and just its traditions.

+1. He and LV get rivals and/or scout accounts and then come over here and simply post what they've heard via people with inside knowledge as if they're in the know. And for the record I believe it was pretty common knowledge that Dixon's info leaked before he wanted it to b/c he wanted to let Baylor know he WAS DECOMMITTING in a respectful, private way. So did he physically or verbally decommit before committing to UT? No. But by committing to another school, he in essence decommitted from Baylor. If I were to guess, after the news became public I'm sure he called someone up at Baylor and told them the news personally. So yes he decommitted from Baylor, but I'm sure Sab (um um McShay) was with him from Friday before the AA game, when the news broke, until he "re-committed" to Baylor so he would know whether or not he in fact did decommit.

Baylor???? What a freaking joke. I could see if the kid wanted to go to another program other than UT but Baylor? Find a decent instate school if he wants to stay close to home. What a waste of talent.
