Given that we never beat Leak after Meyer became the coach, I don't see how it could get any worse. 0-2 is 0-2.

Yep. For all the smack that people around here like to talk about Urban Meyer, he's 2-0 against Fulmer, and he hasn't even had the opportunity to play with players that he recruited yet.

IMO Leak had very little to do with those 2 losses, last yr it was more of our inability to move the chains and score than it was Leak's performance. This yr Teebow did more damage to us than chrissy.

How about looking at things objectively for once rather than as someone with an axe to grind against Chris Leak.

Here's a link to the stats from the UT/Florida game.

So, for the record, are you sticking with your ridiculous statement that Tebow's 7 rushes for 29 yards and 0 TD's hurt UT more than Chris Leak's 199 yards passing and 3 TD's?

his 3rd down p/u's were huge...that's for sure. kept drives alive. and it was demoralizing watching him run to the left time after time and we couldn't stop it.

I am excited to see how Ainge is going to grow as a QB. Coach Cut has shaped Ainge up in less than a year from a HORRIBLE QB to one of the best in the country. I am also anxious to see what he can do with crompton in the next 2 yrs or so...

I think that saying Ainge was HORRIBLE last year is a bit much. That statement entirely overlooks our HORRIBLE wide receiver play. Let's face it..way too many dropped balls last year. I know that Ainge made some horrible decisions...but not all the blame should rest on him. I think that in addition to Coach Cut...we can't forget about what a great job Coach Trooper Taylor has done with the WRs.

I was watching "Inside the Polls" on ESPNU last night. They were discussing the "best" QBs in the nation, and guess who they forgot to mention? Erik Ainge of course, obviously forgetting that he is the 4th-rated QB in the nation right now. That pissed me off a little bit.
