I wasn't speaking of your reply being hasty, I was speaking of mine. I also has some evidence to the 'fender bender" vs. the football tackle. I work in the ED and have seen plenty of minor fender benders (about 5 a day) and they all vary in amount of pain inflected. But, when they do it is quite severe. I have seen plenty of football inj. and hits as well and they keep on playing. You simply cannot generate the same amout of force from a 300lb man going maybe 7mph vs a 1500lb car going 25mph. Simple physics man.

Point well made BD.

LetMeStay:
I am more so worried about the pre-existing injury which was aggrevated by a supposed minor fender bender. BD has a good point though. Even minor fender benders do damage.

Basically, I just do not like the fact that he has an injury. Especially playing against these SEC D's.

Amen SmokeyMan, it all goes back to our new O-Line.

Let's hope for the best. I think they will step up (O-Line that is.)

Steve McNair played with a few ruptured disk.I suppose Ainge would be ready Freddy with a minor back ailment, surely!

Yes, the O-line will have to step it up. He (Ainge) has a shoulder inj. as well and I wonder if that is the "upper back" issue they speak of in the article. Any way you look at it he has to be tough. Can he, who knows. The good thing is that we are just about one day closer to finding out. I hope is healthy, I wish him no harm. YAZ I meant you no disrespect about getting drilled by D1 players. That doesn't feel good either. I got killed by Scott Gaylon my freshman year and he wasn't even in college yet-but pretty darn close.

I've heard that the incidence of injury inflicted in minor fender benders is directly related to the amount of injury lawyer advertising on TV.

I'm just saying, our offense hasn't exactly been great the last few years for many reasons.
Anybody else notice Ainge did better with a simplified offense than when we tried to expand?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Then again, in '04 our line actually blocked and our receivers actually did more than look at the damn ball while it was flying at their heads. But, Ainge got the offense then. And it worked. Our O saved the game more than the D did. Why not keep it or something like it around?

Ainge is a far cry from McNair.

I've read that the coaching staff is worried about Ainge getting hurt and Crompton still not completely healed from shoulder surgery and being forced to go with Bo Hardegree as the starting QB.

Not much more silly than the thread about Fulmers weight and how it affects the offense.
