Maybe they should start making Ainge throw the ball out on I-40. If rush hour traffic and tractor-trailers don't don't pressure him, nothing will.
Let's see, rush hour traffic, on I-40 in Knoxville, around Papermill say? No problem. I can walk faster than the cars move. :D

Just a little FYI for anyone who thinks Ainge has the inside track to the starting job, a heard that UTAD made a deal with Gonzaga to buy all the fake Adam Morrison mustaches that are left at the end of the season. Unless EA started growing out I think JC is gonna' be the man!

Bump that! Don't let anybody wear a green jersey. This team needs to get tough and stop letting teams come into our stadium and punk us. We need to start bringing the pain instead of being on the receiving end. :realmad:

Crompton was the only QB w/ positive yardage (including a TD) on Saturday. SO can they tackle if the Green Jesey crosses the line of scrimmage?

Ummm, did Ainge lose weight? And why are they showing so many practice highlights of JC #8? Are they trying to tell us something?

I think this thread is asking does Ainge have the mental make-up to be a top college QB.

I think there needs to be an attitude of I don't care what the detractors say, I'm gonna go out and play my best, in a word confidence.

If Ainge's confidence is so shakey that switching him in and out with Clausen last season is going to throw his game off, I'm not sure he's the QB who is going to win UT a championship in the future.
People in the huddle need to be able to look at him and believe he's going to drive them downfield and score if the game is on the line.

He's looked good in scrimmages before, only to play poorly in games later. I'm not sure if taking the green jersey off is going to solve this problem. I have my doubts.
