Balance run, pass, returnig players making runs , catches and touchdowns, defense shutting them down, is still 2005/Pinch me.

Don't get too excited, we've fumbled twice. Recievers do look okay, but consider the opposition.

Ainge does look more confident today...don't know what that's about...but I'm excited about it.

Our receivers have taken away 3 TD's so far. We got one of them back.

Ainge looks pretty good, but it's basically 7 on 7 drills out there. The Kentucky defense looks really slow.

As bad as it's been, I'll take anything.ANYTHING!

If that's what makes you happy, but I want greatness.

Well, even as bad as the Kentucky defense has looked at times, Ainge still has to make the reads and throws. This is probably one of the best games of his career.

This train passed that stop a few months ago. Take what you can get.

Kentucky or not Ainge looked like a different player today. Making reads, playing with confidence, not forcing throws, and he was finally willing to dump the ball off when the deep throw was not there. Again, Kentucky or not I was impressed.

I agree. He looked MUCH better and much more focused. He threw some excellent blocks and even after turnovers he pursued the ball to make and effort at tackling.

He sacked up and made some gutsy moves to gain some respect for himself, the coaches and other players.

Lets hope this is the rebirth of his career. The kid is an athlete with a cannon. I was just happy to see him look underneath some today.

Still don't understand why you ever let him pass inside the Vols own 10 yard line. Why...Why....Why?

That was a bad call. That should NOT have even been called. So don't blame him for that.

It has to not only make it back to the line AND he has to be inside the tackle box. It didn't meet both criteria and there was a receiver in the area on top of all of that!

It was a pass play out of your own endzone... :banghead:

You have to have some SERIOUS cajones to call something like a roll out in the endzone.

It may or may not have made it to the LOS, but there was clearly a receiver in the area, so it shouldn't have mattered.

I've seen a few people say that, and I disagree. If you're going to throw out of your own endzone it seems to me that it's a lot safer to move the pocket.

To Ainge's credit though, at least one TD pass was dropped.

Not to mention the fact that Foster had two touchdowns called back as well.
