I was a believer but I no longer think it's going to happen. I hope it does but it seems less likely each day.

I have strong doubts that Gruden comes here.

I'd like to believe but par for the course suggests it will be an underwhelming anti-climactic hire.

The divide in what the media is reporting and what "insiders" are claiming is as wide as the Grand Canyon and flip flops from hour to hour...I do find that a bit curious though.

I'd say that we will know for sure after the Conference Championship games this weekend.....Sunday afternoon or Monday morning. I do believe that there is some NCAA rule as to why they cannot announce a new HC hire until after the Conference Championship games. I know the SEC, ACC, BIG 12 all have Conference Championship games this weekend. I'm sure those aren't the only conferences that have championship games this weekend.

I believe Hart understands who the fan base wants and he and the BOT better get the hell out of the way to get this done. I believe the silence from UT and Gruden is deafening. If it's not him then somebody please go ahead and say something so the fan base can move onto the next one.

If it's not Gruden and Hart fails to address it as soon as he knows Gruden is gone, he will be backing himself into a corner out of which he may never get. I think it is imperative for him to kill the Gruden rumors (if they are only rumors) to allow the fan base a chance to adjust to the realistic hire he will have to make. Otherwise, there will be a strong and loud contingent calling for Hart's cranium because of the shock of "we didn't get Gruden!"

So you are saying there are a lot of morons in the fanbase, which we already knew.

I think there's about a 5-10% chance he ends up here. So no, I don't think he is the next coach here.
