Ainge to Start!

Can't wait for this week to be over so ESPN will stop talking about OSU VS Michigan, games like that happen all the time in the SEC, just once every 25 years or so in every other conference

Um, what?

When was the last time a 1 v. 2 happened in the SEC?

Holy cow dude, haven't you heard that's because we beat each other up in conference so much?:bash:

what amazes me about this board is all the references to orange colored glasses. yet i think more people on this board wear SEC colored glasses (whatever color that is)... I hate ESPN, but I don't think this Mich-Tosu game can get enough billing.

Good news... hopefully he's not terribly rusty and hopefully the receivers will decide to catch balls thrown by Ainge.

I am not saying we would've beaten Ark with EA but we'd at least put up 20-25 points. Those first two possessions were throw aways when Crompton started. He hasn't learned yet how to go through his progressions quickly and he stares down a guy for too long. I am a firm believer we'd have beaten LSU. I take a lot of crap for that but EA is just a whole lot more effecient. No amount of offense we could've produced would've stopped McFadden, though. They were gracious to us in the 2nd half and, I feel, they could've hung 50 on us if they wanted to. :cray:

we were once again up on lsu 17 - 7 and let it slip away just like the florida game. Crompton did above and beyond what most freshman qb's should have been asked to do against a team like lsu. with the pressure that they put on him some of you really think he would have been able to make more plays? give me a break here. I'll grant you the Ark. game crompton was off but he was pressured their too. EA has shown his skills under pressure and it's not too good still after 3 years. give Crompton a little credit here.

I really do think Ainge would've at least made a couple of DRIVE SUSTAINING plays to keep our D off the field longer-cheifly in his ability to check and go through his progressions. You can't tell me, given the opportunity at 100%, he wouldn't have found an open guy on at least a few of those 3rd downs with the way he'd been playing. I say we would've scored another 7-10 points against LSU too. I really like Crompton, but lets face it, he's really young and inexperienced and has GLARING weaknesses. He will be incredible in a year or two but I feel like we are limited when he plays now. Don't get me wrong here though, I am definitely a Crompton fan, but EA is our guy and gives us the absolute best chance to win.

But even then Milo, maybe those drives where we punted, and there was alot of them, we could have scored some more points. But Arkansas was still the better team, I think Erik would have made the game closer though.

i look at it as poking fun of them by saying tosu, but you're right, i think they just eat it up even more.
