It seems a hairline fracture could heal up within 4 weeks. But, I've never had one.

I hope that all pans out well for him this week...that he can get a good week of practice in .. solidify his mechanics...and get ready to put a whoopin' on the Tigers.

you guys seem to be taking this article a bit rougher than I am. do you think that by saying they're gonna get Crompton ready that Ainge is worse than they are letting on? Obviously, negative x-ray and MRI are a VERY good thing. That, at least, is some good news. Is the bad news that this could be a bit of mis-direction from Phil and Ainge may not be up to the task??

if Ainge is out then the team is not going to have a very strong leader on the field and we need him on the field Shears cant do it on his own

Negative mri is HUGE. Are we gonna see another Clausen effort - ala the broken collarbone?

If Ainge plays this week at anything over 80% I'll be shocked. But I am relieved CPF is saying the right thing about the injury. Never show your hand on Sunday night.
