Any word if Selby is going to transfer or if he is just going to sit this season out?
I can't imagine there's a place he could transfer to and be eligible to play. Leaving a storied program like DeMatha would raise big red flags for me regarding Selby.

I actually have a bit of a source on this topic up here in the district. My understanding of the situation is that the suspension is temporary (violation of team rules). But I will pester my buddy for updates and details.

Yeah, I see that some people on the KY board misinformed me. They said that Selby had been suspended and that he was going to transfer to Scott Co.

Rob Lewis said that it was very minor, and he was just missing one game. I think I'll go with what Rob Lewis said. I should have known better than to listen to KY posters.

Back to Akeem Richmond, he had 3 games this week, scored 32 last night, 36 Wednesday, no points recorded in local paper for other game. He has a chance to break the NC scoring record, his team will have to make a good run in the playoffs to do it. I think some of his draw back is size, but last few games I attended he's shown some great improvement in defense and leadership(in the past seemed all about himself). I'm still not convinced he can be a D-1 PG, but has the same go get it and scoring like Stephon Curry.

Akeem scored 32 again tonight. It wasn't his best game but still looked pretty good. He has seemed to have learned when his outside shot isn't working as well drive to the basket and get to the free throw line. Any of you guys hearing anything about him as being recruited any more or less. Akeem or his father want talk much about it. I do know W. Kentucky is on him and Syracuse.

seems like the kid has a scorer's mentality. We nee d a confident shooter on this team. by the way, I saw West at the last home game (FLA). He signed a couple of autographs and even took a cou9uple of pictures with fans. He said he is definitely here on the team next year. I sure hope so!
