Yeah. Pruitt wanted "old school" football- ball control, low risk O then win with D. That was the Fulmer formula during the 90's. IMO, he hired Pruitt to prove he was wrongly fired by making his brand of football work again.

Where did that come from? No one suggested anything of the kind. Chaney had a lot of success and then not... largely tied to who the HC was and the HC's philosophy.

and i'm still not convinced we're not heavily in it for Matthews. i'm hopeful that at CB we do the opposite of what we've done at OL....Conyer, Gibson, Matthews....would be a great haul....basically getting all of the ones we wanted. and it would be a huge feather in CWM's cap.

Judging by the heat to the Dawgs and sudden change to Vols heat… either 1) Spyre really is going hard in the paint since the notice of allegations finally got released or 2) this kid saw through the BS of the Kirbster and knows he’s trying to pick Gibson off our board or 3) he loves the orange and our coaches or 4) all of these things

Playing time probably had something to do with it too if I had to guess. Uga is loaded and UT is far from it.

i'm going back to the post that @WillAtSpyre liked the other night that was basically calling out Spyre for needing to go all in on these CB's. so i'm going with #1. with a little of the other 2 sprinkled in for good measure.;)

You forgot 5) He reads VN and recognized Weezer was right, so Weezer really deserves the credit for this one....
