Tennessee in a fight with Georgia and Bammer. From Rivals:
Bacon was an early commitment for Josh Heupel and the Volunteers last season out of Alabama. More and more suitors have continued to put themselves in the mix to change the four-star's mind, including the in-state Crimson Tide in addition to Florida, Georgia, Miami and Michigan, which hosted Bacon for the first time over the weekend.
Bacon already has official visits lined up to Alabama and Georgia as this race grows more interesting.

Correct but there are ones on here who think because of NIL you don’t need a top 5 class. Even though the data says the opposite. I love Heupel but I really wish he would hire some ace recruiters.Sad thing is that isnt good enough to win championships, we’d need consistent top 5 classes to compete with uga, osu, oregon etc

NONE of those players were “finds” by our staff but Anderson, who was a 3-star. He has not flipped to Bama or UGA because he’s still uncommitted, and he’s still taking an OV here. And you’re posting this in the Tyson Bacon thread - he’s still committed here and just took yet another UV to Knoxville.Lagonza Hayword, Utu, Brandon Anderson, tony mitchell, sylvester smith. All of these were guys we had committed early on to the process before they really blew up but other teams swooped in and snagged them once their names got bigger in the recruiting world
Who is the last player we flipped? Like genuinely speaking, because I just looked through all of Heups class and Merritt is the only one. And no, Brame doesn’t count because he was basically a silent here before Oregon pushed and then he had second guesses, and Campbell decomitted from Clemson 2.5 months before he committed hereNONE of those players were “finds” by our staff but Anderson, who was a 3-star. Sly Smith flipped to Auburn.
Hayward and Utu were Top 100 players when we got their commitments and neither went flipped to Bama or UGA.
ONE of those players flipped to Bama or UGA, and that was Mitchell (who’s done nothing in his career) and he committed to Butch Jones or Pruitt in 8th grade.
You don’t know that we’ve flipped players from other schools?
Sorry bud that woe is me crap doesn’t hold up.
So you’re willing to discount two elite players we flipped (from perennial CFP programs) but want to count Tony Mitchell.Who is the last player we flipped? “Who have we flipped? And you don’t get to count anyone we flipped!”So you’re willing to discount two elite players we flipped (from perennial CFP programs) but want to count Tony Mitchell.
Probably not worth continuing this discussion…
