'24 AL EDGE Jordan Ross (Tennessee)

For some reason….. I like this player a lot more than rushing anyways.

Sounds like Rushing has the hugest upside. Matt Ray alluded to this guy needing to add weight or change his body and being far from a can’t miss guy.

All his recent likes on twitter are for Florida, not good…

One name we have continued to hear positive vibes around since official visits wrapped up is Jordan Ross. The four-star EDGE jived well with the Tennessee staff and current commits and could certainly seem himself in Orange. This one has had momentum swings on more than one occasion, so take it for what it is right now.
The biggest question remains around his timeline, and how does Tennessee sustain the momentum they gained during the June official visit if this does go into December? He has flirted with a couple of different timelines, including most recently doing so publicly on Twitter, so it will be interesting to watch where, or if, he heads anywhere in July. The Vols will certainly look to get him back to campus as often as possible in the coming months. Florida still feels optimistic about its chances, while others will work to get him on campus this fall.

Maybe it was Ross all-along...

and Rushing was the "Get-Shirt"/"Blue-Shirt"...which is why he stayed close to Momma...for now

Honestly I don't know how I feel about a kid that would rather play for Florida but the money isn't there
Every player may not just be looking for top dollar when it comes to being concerned with NIL.

Some may be thinking of it as an added value item. If playing for UF is not attractive for a player they may want more money to go play for UF. While playing for UT may be attractive and thus we might be able to get away with offering less, because our on the field product is better than UFs. Similar for UT vs UGA for defensive players, UGA may be able to offer less because they can sell on the field results, off the field results, and draft success.

Or some may look into deeper and see that a good bit of Spyre's efforts go into retaining our players. so the "upfront bonus" of signing with a different school could get balanced by a smaller "upfront bonus" when it comes with a better guaranteed "salary" at UT.

we speculate a lot, without knowing pretty much ANY of the details. I am sure there are other NIL contingencies I am not thinking of too.
