Al Gore to be sued? over Global Warming

Talk about turning up the heat: John Coleman(founder of The Weather Channel) wants to sue Al Gore, stating that "he thinks this would be a great vehicle to put some much needed light on the fraud, which is Global Warming."
Question: Could we finally have rational discussion about enviromental changes, or are these issues never to be discussed without being labled a "plague of society" if you disagree with Al Gore?

My in-laws have been shoveling "Global Warming" off their driveway all winter. Worst winter in China in 50 years....:eek:lol::eek:lol:

Al Gore's interest in Global Warming is purely political and a means of profit. I myself am leaning towards Abdussamatov's solar cycle theory

Everytime I am disturbed by something Bush does or does not do, reminding myself that Gore could have been President makes me feel much better about Bush.

Give the man the Noble Peace Prize, then sue him for it. That makes a lot of sense.

A Nobel Peace Prize that was given for a theory that was put forth as fact. (even those scientist who agree with the global warming theory have to admit the movie was going way overboard) Come on! He was coddled by the movie industry. (which pollutes California more than other industry!)

I think Gore is a idiot, but if you read up on global warming and/or watch the movie, global warming also causes extreme droughts and unusual weather...ie extreme snow.

Well, I'd like to fish on Saturday and it is really going to be nasty here the next few days. This cold front is coming in as we speak and it is starting to rain pretty hard.

I'd like some answers Mr. Gore! Send them to me on your magic internet thingy that is tuned into my glowing box with the alphabet buttons.

While I detest the very essence of the man, its obvious Al Gore is not an idiot. He made a movie that is nothing more than propaganda, filled with inaccuracies, and out and out lies. He has won an academy award, Nobel prize, gone out and preached about conservation, all the while living and extravagant life style, and then sells off carbon credits to a company he owns. Very smart indeed. Now he's possibly going to be sued for those inaccuracies, 500 of the worlds leading scientist are meeting in New York to debunk this fraud, with real data and trends. James Hansen, a scientist with NASA, some say in bed with Gore, is under investigation for some statements made. Scientist who were on the original UN global warming study, have sued to get their names taken off of it, don't want to be associated with it. The question is now, will the media cover and listen to what the 500 scientist have to say with the same zest and voracity that they covered Gore, my guess, probably not.
