‘23 AL OT Stanton Ramil (Michigan St. commit)

I'm not sure losing a player to Michigan State is alarming. They went 11-2 last year and went to/won a New Years Six bowl game. We won 7 games and lost to Purdue in the Music City Bowl. That may trigger people in here but its fact.
I wish we could go to a NY6 bowl game. Can hardly wait til we do.

Can’t wait to see what our recruiting is like once these violation penalities are completely behind us. Plus having a good year this year, could be wild
gotta show on field improvement.

Once Ced goes in 1st round, and we have an Olineman taken in 1st round. It will pickup. Gotta lamd some of these top oline targets, there's just no excuse to go 1/5

If we lose out here, APs statement of “Staff looking to go 2 of 4 on maguoia, Simmons, umarov, and Ramil. Anything more is house money” seems to imply failure to meet expectations. And I would admit I’m expecting more than 1 really good OL signing per class from the Heupel Offense and Staff.

But the FACT is Heupel’s offenses are very balanced. The run is very big in Heupel’s offense as well. Heupel’s offense is designed to attack the weakness wherever it is. To get mismatches. Whether it is numbers at LOS or outside, Heupel don’t care if it’s run or pass. Sometimes his offense is big passing numbers, sometimes big rushing numbers and sometimes balanced numbers. GBO!
I definitely agree with that, it’s more rushing than passing. I was just saying opposing teams use it as a negative in recruiting. Chip Kelly an Uptempo spread Option coach said it a few times at Oregon in multiple interviews as well as Art Briles which is a Veer and Shoot uptempo attack more similar to what we run here. Teams will use it to try and negatively recruit against us and the type of offense we run. I definitely don’t agree with opposing coaches tactics in doing so but that’s the name of the game

This Staff loves Bussell. He was there number 1 from State. Kid is athletic and will have a good future at TN.

If we only manage to sign 1 really good OL per signing class, not only will we not make up ground on our SEC rivals, we'll fall further and further behind them over time. I think that we'll end up landing some other good OL's in this class, but one really good OL per signing class isn't even mediocre. It's complete failure.

You should dock his pay

So are we feeling that wherever these young men commit to NOW is where they’ll stick - even if their commitment school stinks it up this season?
I believe we get another shot before signing day with several targets.
