'19 AL QB Taulia Tagovailoa

So, our head coach, the former Bammer, has a relationship with the family from his time at Bama, isn't smart enough to recognize the nature of this visit? Right.

Ok then, give the logical reason why he chose the Bama game over any of our other home games to visit.

They clearly have a relationship with Bama and that isn't ever going away. That has nothing to do with whether they see Pruitt and Tennessee as a better option for Taulia. You act like Pruitt is too stupid to understand what might be happening. He isn't.

I didn't realize Ole Miss' starting QB was from Hawaii, until today. What the hell are they feeding these Hawaiian kids to make so many talented QBs ?

This is not a knock on Pruitt at all. So because they have a good relationship with Pruitt, thats the only reason for this visit? So there is no way that Taulia could have any other intentions? Alrighty then.

I love being a Vol. Always have and always will. I believe Taulia has interest in TN, legit interest. It just seems to me that the timing of the visit is suspect. Whats the logical reason is there to visit for the Bama game? He could set up an official to Knoxville for any other game. Why that one? Thats all I am asking.

I like we are getting the visit, it just irks me that its for the one guarateed blowout loss of the season.
His whole family is guaranteed to be at this game, and this game only, as far as coming to Knoxville. Theyll be traveling for his HS games plus Tua's games all season; this game is probably more convient for them all.
And, BOT, I know you love the Vols; it's the main reason I hate to see guys like you and McGill worry over ALMOST EVERYTHING, and already beaten before we start. When Wright said he'd be at UF game, you were already beaten, because you hated the fact he's coming to that game. I love it, because he gets to see us beat their a**.

No knock on Pruitt, while simultaneously criticizing an OV...that Pruitt pays for and authorizes? Back at you...alrighty then.

And they all went to the same HS, except for maybe the kid at Ole Miss, I think he went somehere else. But Timmy Chang, Marcus, Tua...all same HS, iirc.

Not only can Pruitt NOT recognize it with all those advantages....but a certain poster on here CAN recognize it with literally zero intel. It's truely amazing!

I didn't used to drift to the negative...until the monumental ocean of crap that has befallen us the last DECADE+ made me that way..

You almost have to be delusional by this point to believe a lot of positive things are going to happen. I don't about this dude, I think he is a plant, but I am delusional enough to still be here hoping that at some point things have to change for the better.

I would LOVE to be wrong about Taulia and the sincerity of his interest in the Vols, but I do not believe one iota that I am.

That crow would taste really good, I hope Pruitt can barbecue one up for me here.

Hey Gil We gonna beat them Gators. Oh yeah baby. How bout them Vols.

Intel is overated sometimes. If the intel is wrong, it is useless..no matter the reason, whether it is someone being disingenous(Hunter Johnson) or truly conflicted. I really don't know if the Tagovailoas are the former or the latter, but the circumstances of his earlier visit make me HIGHLY suspicious. I have learned from MY OWN PERSONAL experiences to trust those instincts instead of what I want to believe.

In my opinion..there isn't much chance Taulia will be a Vol, and HT will be a Bubbagump if he leaves the west coast...

I hope I'm wrong...would love to be able to revert to my old self before the Wrights, Browns, Walkers, Hunter Johnsons and Amari Rodgers of the world skewed my vision..

Yep. Saint Louis School in Honolulu. A ton of football players (not just QBs) have come out of that school, many of whom have played in the NFL.

Just think about it tho. He comes in under pruitt with probably a real possibility at coming in and starting right away and actually playing his older brothers team. Would be pretty epic for him and his family
He wouldn’t be starting right off the bat by any means, JG is a real qb, and in my opinion is very underrated! I think JG will end up being the next big name qb for Tn. I bet when all is said and done we talked about him like we talk about Dobbs now.

i think it's fairly safe to assume JG is back next year, he isn't going pro, and i doubt he transfers.

so, with that said, bringing in Maurer, and having Shrout on board...and if Taulia were to come in as well........there'd be a full on qb competition and don't think for one second if one of the other 3 guys out plays JG, they'd start next year. it'll be a competition whether taulia comes or not to be honest.

Agreed. But if he develops enough this year. He could be one of the top SEC qbs next year. Still hoping he's there by the end of this year though.

whatever they do, it will be with the intent of making them better. i think JG is showing signs of life and there's a lot to work with there. teh o line still needs improvement. that would help a lot. i like the committment to running the ball, and i think overall the WR's are doing a much better job this year so far.

so if the O line can get something together, it'll do nothing but help JG.

the problem with all that is that after this week, the front 7's we're gonna see are gonna be vastly different than what we've seen thus far.

so while i think it's certainly fair to expect continued improvement......................i don't know that it will come in the form of W's the next few weeks.
