'19 AL QB Taulia Tagovailoa

I wouldn’t say there’s a good chance he ends up at Tennessee, but I’m not ruling it out. There’s no doubt the Vols’ best shot at landing him involved Jalen Hurts being more of a thorn in the side for Tua this season. But even with Tua starting and playing well, Tennessee still seems to think it has at least an outside chance of flipping Taulia. The Vols wouldn’t be wasting their time, especially with Maurer already on board, if they didn’t think they had a legitimate chance.

Manziel was only 6ft and turned out alright in the SEC.

If he can thrown and make good decisions, sign him up.

Saban should have just played Tua against LSU, Auburn, and Georgia and then redshirted him. Then, if he needed him, in the NC game dust him back off for the W. Gain another year of eligibility.

Lol you know he thought about it.

You would think the NCAA would be springing violations against Bama by now just because it honestly gets to the point where people don’t even want to watch any of there games any more because of there fans and from years of illegal recruitment

Starting right away, eh? Just like most thought Chryst would?
Ya no sh**( btw I wasnt one of them) I’ve been on the JG train. He will finish with a similar legacy as Dobbs. Hell, maybe even better, he will be remembered for his toughness and helping turning this team around. GBO

The reason he’s the best coach of the modern era is that he DOESN’T think like that.

Are you kidding? The NCAA won't even let refs call holding penalties against Bama until Bama has at least a 5 TD lead.

I haven't watched them in years, what's the point? Mark Emmert hired Nick Saban at LSU and made him the highest paid coach before leaving LSU to accept the presidency of the NCAA. They have a history together and it pays to have "fellow travelers" in leadership roles with NCAA. From a 2013 USAA article, "Alabama has two perceived friends in high places: Emmert and Alabama graduate Derrick Crawford, a director of enforcement for the NCAA. In the outside world, it's akin to being accused of a crime and having the charges investigated at the police station where your uncle is the police chief and your friend is the top detective." Folks this is how you build a program like Alabama! Alabama will never be investigated as long as Emmert is the president of the NCAA.

Geez it should be some kind of law to be where that can not happen. We see first hand what favorability can do for a team. Just not right.

I hate Alabama and all, but what evidence is there that they cheat in recruiting. I just haven’t heard about this before now.
