‘23 AL RB Khalifa Keith (Tennessee)

How sweet would it be if he flipped the Monday after we beat them by 30.

Are you suggesting he’s not any good? I’m guessing that’s your angle?
I’ll go ahead and comment on this. You can be a Vol fan, and love everything Tennessee, and still be objective enough to be honest about what our enemies are good at. Kentucky has been really good at identifying and developing RBs during the Stoops regime as well as elite edge rushers. I would have no problem stealing any recruit from those positions from Kentucky.

What is so attractive about getting him to flip? What does he bring to the table?

There's other RBs I would rather flip. I don't see the vast improvement over Stallings, but I'm no talent expert and Coach Heupel has a great group of them.

The coaches have been evaluating this kid for awhile, and apparently like him a lot. As of right now, he may be our most realistic flip candidate. If we take care of business the next 2 weeks, and break out black helmets Saturday night, that could change.

Looking at his offer list and I'm not seeing any top teams listed outside of us. We did offer him though so I guess there's that. Maybe he just hasn't done enough camps?
I think it’s a similar situation to Conyers. You just don’t see many big programs recruit KY much

Edit: Nevermind, I didn’t remember he’s from AL

This reminds me of Josh Jacobs' recruitment. Not comparing Keith to Jacobs in physique or style, just in being a lightly recruited RB from AL with impressive film.

Nice comparison but Jacobs was actually a 3 star from Oklahoma. Maybe the best find Saban ever had

Not sure about Camps for him, but he does have 2 SEC offers.
Both Kentucky and obviously Tennessee are ranked in the Top 25

People don't understand how much recruiting has changed. There's just more good players than there EVER has been.

This kid is a hoss and he's going to get faster. He has heavy legs right now, but very strong. With our tempo and just the way our players train he'll slim down some and become more explosive. He'll still be 225 but faster.

Wouldn't be sad if Keith, Stallings ,and Bishop end up on UTs roster one way or another.

My bad. I was thinking he was from Bama for some reason but I guess that was Brian Robinson. I knew Jacobs was a 3 star, but so is Keith on most services.

Wonder why it took them so long to offer?
