‘23 AL RB Khalifa Keith (Tennessee)

You just wonder is Whitehead done. This kid highlights look the same as Stallings. Big back with some speed who gets North and South. The one thing missing from film is vision and lateral cuts. He may have these traits but just don't know from Video. So I take it as if he comes to TN then Stallings is not. In CHRIST Alone

It’s been stated that some believe Stallings won’t be in this class fwiw

One thing Auburn and Bama know are RBs. Why no offers from the instate schools? Seems odd.
Alabama has two really good RBs committed for 2023

Not sure about Auburns recruiting. I don't keep up with it at all.

But South Carolina has a 5 star RB starting.
Miss State has a really good RB and have out RBs in the NFL recently.
Kentucky has absolutely built a bit of a reputation of taken under recruited RBs and turning them into hard nosed highly productive playera that get drafted at RB.
Tennessee is Tennessee

So these schools are still getting good talent all the time. They're not Vandy.

AP-based on your comments for months on Khalifa Keith, it seemed like his decommit from KY was just a matter of time. Did KY truly fight hard to keep him? Why are no other big time schools in the picture for him?
Yes and honestly I’m not sure why others aren’t. South Carolina obviously made a push but kid loves TN

Not very fast, but seems to be tough, good vision, and good balance

Love that most of his runs are between the tackles. That can translate to better vision (or less of a learning curve) at the next level. Many HS RBs simply bounce it outside and outrun everybody. Would love to see more video of him at the point of contact when defenders hit him up the middle, though. Hard to get a sense of his strength in these highlights.

lol at the kentucky fans that claim we don't run the football lolololol.

If they would quit watching basketball for 2 seconds, they would realize we run it more than passing, hell we run it more than Georgia does and they pass more than we do.
Yeah, we literally run more than we pass and without looking, Im pretty sure most of our rush stats other than rushes per game are higher lol

I indirectly asked this question in another post. Sometimes the star rankings match the offer list and sometimes they don't. Wonder what these uneducated eyes are missing?

While I am a firm believer that the recruiting services get it right far more often than not, they always make mistakes. This guy could be one of them. Heck take Rodriguez. He was the 58th RB in 2018. Same class as #1 RB Zamia White. Rodriguez is the much better RB. So imo this is one of those misses.

Astute point, my man.

A friend of mine who used to be a recruiting analyst once told me about a conversation he had with Robert Gillespie while he was RB coach at UT. Gillespie told him that one of the biggest things he looks for is what a RB does when there is very little space between him and a would-be tackler. So often, it's hard to tell with high school guys because the good ones can simply outrun (or run right by) defenders on that level. But if a defender gets himself in position to make the tackle and the RB can make him miss in a very small space, that got Gillespie's attention. Said that's what got their attention with John Kelly, when he was just rated a 3* RB.

John Kelly had that wiggle
