I've got a 7 year old daughter so I know all the things Gaston can do.

I'll take the high road here with this offer. I know most dont like it but this is a big moment for that kid getting a P5/SEC offer.

One reason why I spend less time in the Recruiting Forum is the attitude we sometimes show towards some of these kids. I get it, we're all frustrated with Pruitt now and we all want 5* recruits. I know it's a different sport but wife played high school basketball in Dallas area. She had some D1 offers but she absolutely wanted a Big 12 or SEC offer as validation for all the hard work she put in.

I'm happy for the kid, but worried for the future of the football program.

I'm just some guy who wasn't good enough to play college football though. If the kid comes here, I hope he balls out and proves everyone wrong.

It's still worrisome though.

Honestly, I don't even know what to make of recruiting this year with Covid. Kid could be good and was missed because of no camps and irregular seasons. Or, he could be an average 3 star, signifying our fall. I haven't any idea at this point.

There's your answer. Staff can't recruit and is resorting to potential diamonds in the rough while losing our best recruits in McGhee and Lewis and swinging and missing on Mims, Mondon, TID, and Green

A bit much to say they can’t recruit. Nobody can recruit when you’re not putting up Ws.

But we do still have some good ones committed.
