It is comical, how the social media posts of 17 and 18 year olds are dissected and psycho-analyzed for deeper meaning on this forum. There is a pathetic element to this. "Get a life," doesn't seem to be a sufficiently harsh response to it.

Signing with a school because of one coach is ignorant. These coaches are mercenaries.

If it’s a coach that’s winning and doesn’t get fired then it’s not an issue. Don’t hear anyone complain when kids sign with Bama bc they trust Saban. Or kids who sign with Clemson bc they bought Dabo’s bag of bullsh*t.

Really the only thing that makes sense. I get why kids pick the coach but we’ve seen time and again that the coaches could be fired or leave at any minute. Can’t let that be the deciding factor.

Everyone is different but I wouldn't pick a school just on a coach tbh. I would want to win. Eventually I'd get over my guy getting canned. Sometimes you have to see it's just not gonna work out. I'm shocked we were able to sign who they did this year.

I'm not ignorant of the situation or dismissing anything. Everyone is different. It's just nice to see someone like KS look at the bigger picture.
