Pruitt isnt doing himself ANY favors.Agreed. I was a huge sunshine pumper. Pruitt turned me into a huge nega.
I think that's what both sides do, look at the situation at their interpretation of "face value".. They're just differing interpretations and unfortunately we, all to often, don't know when to just stop expressing our interpretations...Not really aimed at you, but looking at a situation at face value, or at least one's own interpretation of face value, is not "sunshine pumping."

I don't think Pruitt is stupid. I think some people use the term more in reference to his coaching than his general intelligence (could be wrong here). The way he communicates hurts him here as far as the way peoples opinions are shaped.I agree, but there's a pretty obvious spectrum of negativity and positivity. I don't think there are two sides. We're all somewhere on the spectrum (no pun intended). There are plenty of folks here who can be critical of this team/program on some issues, but still find positivity in others. I never have issues with those people. It's the folks who spin everything into a narrative of how this is the worst college football team in existence, or how "stupid" the coach is (how insulting is that?) that I have an issue with. They have a right to post that stuff, but I have a right to respond to it.
12 years of mediocrity will turn a Sunshine Pumper into a Nega-Vol.
I used to be in your shoes but I’ve learnt to accept reality.
I’ve wondered lately if the folks he went to school with in Fort Payne are shocked he’s now making $4 mil a year? Bet they thought he’d become a lifer rural football coach.I don't think Pruitt is stupid. Me personally, I think Pruitt is incredibly stubborn, probably a micromanager and at this point does not have the CEO skills a head coach needs. He has a good defensive mind and If his sole responsibility is defense I think he is very good.
