Alabama - 1 penalty 5 yards

They hold all the time and they also get no PI calls when they do something worse than we did yet they call PI on us. I’m tired of the biased refs. It’s one thing if they call the game down the middle or if TN would ever have a big game where the calls go our way, but we never do

Get these geriatric idiots off the field and replace them with younger guys, or better yet just call the game using technology instead of relying on these ancient relics
one of the old farts got ran over!! highlight of the 4th q

Since he was suspended for the first half of his final game at Tennessee for possibly stepping on a Vandy player after a play ended, wonder what Juan Jennings feels about this play from Saturday.

What occurred with Jennings wasn't clearly visible from video but this certainly is. Will there be another suspension handed down by Sankey?

The first TD of the 3rd should have never happened because there was a massive hold
That one was a freaking sleeper hold. Inexcusable that the refs missed that one. I'm not going to go so far as to say that the refs threw the game intentionally, but that was the worst officiating I've seen in 35 years of following college football.

It was the right call. Dee Williams gave the fair catch signal, Seldon caught it and took off running. It's the same penalty as a punt returner signaling fair catch and then running.
No - I believe you are incorrect sir. It was not Dee who raised his arms sideways but never over his shoulder. Coach H said today a frontline guy raised his hand a little above his shoulder. I didn’t see it at the game or on the replay. Which validates the point how does a ref see that and not see the choke hold 2 plays later 2 yards from QB on the touchdown drown throw to start the 2nd half. And its BS, if you let me not call fouls on you and I call ticky tack on lebron james you could beat him in one on one. I know I have done that for two guys playing and one was better for my brothers, doesn’t make it right but it will change the outcome.

Not a chance.

How is that remotely the same? Fair catching a kickoff is one of the dumbest rules ever instituted. All it does is penalize a good kick.

This is what occurs whenever we play Bama. It's not new. Bama is always going to get their Bama calls and you have to play through it and beat them anyway. But yesterday the zebras came out of the tunnel for the second half with marching orders and they executed them very well. I don't recall ever seeing the levels they went to in order to swing momentum and the game in Bama's favor, especially in front of a nationally televised crowd.
yup 😡

It was #22 standout freshman LB Telander...he pointed a finger up with a raised hand about shoulder high.

He was right at the line of scrimmage blocking. You know...40 or 50 yards away from where the catch was made BEHIND him...he of course had no idea whether we would return the ball or not, nor does he have anything to do with returning the ball/ deciding not to return it.

The chokehold on the 40yd touchdown play on Pearce coming out of halftime, and the refs taking a posession away from us with that bullsheit call pinning us at the 4yd line were a HUGE part of bama winning the game. HUGE PART. We went from up by 13 points and dominating to on the ropes and trailing as soon as the refs kicked their cheating into overdrive. Keep in mind the several different times Joe stood there with a sheiteating grin in the 1st half...because the refs were already jacking us by letting bama DBs grab, pull, and PI against our WR on every play. We SHOULD have gone into halftime up at LEAST 28 to 7....could have been 31 or 35 points for UT. Shoot, if we just scored a TD every time we had a "1st and goal" situation in the 1st half...we would have scored 28 with a FG attempt from the other posession.

Those garbage refs stole the game from us...and I hope that they all get the exact failure and disappointment in their personal lives that they forcefully inflicted on the entire UT team, staff, and Volnation in general. Karma is a beeyatch.

We got jobbed badly.

Dont get me wrong...Sloppy Joe just isnt bright enough to be a good QB....with just average SEC QB play by him all year we would be undefeated right now...but the refs in this game were disgraceful.

This is a bridge year though...rational fans predicted 9-3 or 8-4 and we are right on track to finish that way.
That might be true but the fact is the Vols lost to below par gator and bama teams this year. Myself was hoping for 11-1 this based off the orange bowl performance of JM.
