Stars don't matter it's all about how you coach kids up. Blah, blah, blah. Now where is the blue font option on this phone!

Saban out recruits everyone.

Easy to recruit well when you do not follow the same rules everyone else does (i.e. two coaches fired within the last year for cheating) and you pay your players.

I have absolutely no respect for bama, their fans, coaches, etc. The whole program is built on cheating.

All of them outside of the FCS or group of 5 games.

Hmm, so you missed the games in which he got the most snaps and recorded 3 of his 4 forced turnovers, but you are convinced he's the best player on Bama's defense?

This is why your assessments are so well-regarded around here.

You should know be by now. Its doesn't take but a few snaps for me to tell who can play and who can't.

I actually liked him all the way back to the spring game in 2015.

He'll be the best NFL safety Saban has produced since arriving at Alabama.

I just think it is really amazing that a team could start a defense of 5 star players. Never been done before. I would agree that If Butch wants to compete with Saban he is going to need to bring in highly ranked classes EVERY year.

That article correctly stated that Bama has recruited lots of 5 stars. It did *not* successfully make the argument that Bama can/will start all 5 stars on the D side. All it did was state that, from a numbers perspective, and considering that nick likes D, they could conceivably--from a numbers perspective--start all 5 stars on D.

They would have to go through the roster and project starters to successfully make the argument that you think they are successfully making.

So, all you really did was post an article that says, "Hey! Look how good Bama recruits!" That's cool and all... Just don't make it something it's not.

7 of the 11 defensive 5 stars are starters this season. Two LBs, Ben Davis, Freshman, was the #1 inside LB in composite rankings in the nation. Mack Wilson, freshman, was the consensus #2 ranked outside LB in the nation. Tony Brown will be dynamic when he's on the field as always. He has to mature to consistently stay on the field. Kendall Sheffield redshirted at a deep position, was on the track team as a sprinter and projects to start much like Marlon Humphrey did his redshirt freshman year. If he takes Cyrus Jones slot that allows Bama to keep Fitzpatrick in the nickel DB position.

So barring any unforeseen problems, at least 8 of the 11, 5 stars will be starting and frankly, don't rule out Ben Davis, he is that good and advanced at a deep position.

Cool so you actually did what the article didn't...

...and still didn't come up with all 5 stars-starting D lineup.

My point wasn't that Bama is untalented. It was to the OP, to say that he didn't post an article that actually made the point he thought they made.
