Playing devils advocate...I sure wouldn't announce that I'm going with a new QB until the very last minute.

I don't read a lot into depth charts because they can change whenever a coach feel like it. I'll believe it when I see CJP send one of the boys onto the field Saturday.

I think if JG is gonna be who he starts with at QB, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran a play out of the Wildcat for the first play to avoid the boos, then run JG out for the second play like he did last year with JJ.

I thought that was the case too. No reason to play your cards until you absolutely must in this case.

I'm down with this idea.......probably take Bama a full Tennessee series to adjust. At this point, i think HB is our future and I know its throwing him into the fire and to the wolves.........but playing the long game, get him the reps against a super fast defense......only make him stronger in the long run.

True...we’ll have see how quickly we see someone else take a snap this Saturday. At this point you have to play backups and the ****up...I mean starter...

It's interesting that Maurer is on there at second string, but he was the only QB on the roster who got no playing time on Saturday.
