It's nice to be hated it means the Tennessee football program has become relevant. Nobody hates you much when they know they can beat you.

..."Alabama's always dominated..." Neyland was 12-5-2 and Fulmer was 11-4 (combined 23-9-2) against Bama, so no, they haven't always dominated. It's not Alabama. It's Saban. When Saban retires, Bama will go in the toilet, because no coach in his right mind will go there because of unrealistic expectations. They'll probably go thru 5 or more coaches before they emerge as a factor in the SEC. Furthermore, if Saban goes 4 consecutive years without a title, he'll probably retire. He won't be able to take being #2, 3 or 4 in the SEC for 3 or 4 years, and that's what he's looking at right now with UGA's emergence, A&M's ascension and the Vols coming on strong. I think he'll be gone before the '27 season if not earlier.
