I know everybody thinks Saban is just going to keep moving around like Larry Brown, but I just can't see it happening. If he's successful in Alabama, no college team would spend more than the Tide would to keep him there. If he's not that successful, nobody will spend the money to hire him away. And nobody in the NFL will hire him again, of course.
His price is now so high that he's locked into Alabama for the duration of that contract, for better or worse. The only way he leaves is if he's a flop and they fire him, and with all that guaranteed money, you'd think it would have to be horrible before they'd do that.

How long until Bammers start calling for his head if he doesn't take them to a SECCG in year 2?
Hahaha......well, they weren't paying all those guys $4 million a year. Let's say he wins two SEC championships in his first five years but fails to sniff the BCS title game (basically what Richt did at Georgia) -- for a lot of the Alabama fanbase, even that's not going to be good enough.
It would be good enough for me, but you are right, some fans just can't be pleased. Just get us into one of the BCS Bowls every now and again and beat Auburn, LSU and you guys more than you beat us and TuskALoosa is a very happy man.
