Alabama is going to have a killer OL next year

The only reason I can see them as not being as good next year would be the fact that they need a new QB to step in. Whoever they put in, will likely be more talented than JPW, just need experience. I think the line will be just as good, if not better, due to who they have coming in, and who they have as backups.

Isn't that what we said with Ainge/Crompton?

JPW just kept them out of the bad play. He was never a game breaker.

The chemistry on that O-line is really not being appreciated. They worked well together and gained momentum all season. They also won't be sneaking up on anybody this year. Also JPW didn't have to win any games this year the running game won them all for them. The one game where they tried to allow him to win it for them they faltered.

Bama pays players. Thats why they can sign NFL ready linemen. I hope saban gets them the death penalty before its over with.

Along with the 3 returning starters, they're bringing in DJ Fluker and Bobby Massie.

But Fluker is supposedly a massive beast. He's been beaten a total of 1 time throughout Army AA bowl practices, and Barry Every, a scout for Rivals, was heard saying

"DJ Fluker should call Roger Goodell and tell him to **** off, I'm going straight to the NFL."

Plus, the dude is a lot bigger than he seems in pictures

That's his shoe...Next to a size 12.

Is anyone expecting us to beat them next year? I just don't see it..And last year was the least talented team we're going to see from them for a long time.

Of course he looks good with two high school all american games now he doesn't get to face the best of the best

I wish some people would research before they post things.

Bobby Massie is not committed to Bama.

They lose 3 starters:
Andre Smith
Antoine Caldwell
Marlon Davis

It's a little difficult to replace the best OL in the country at the most crucial OL position on the team.

Agreed, but fluker might be one of the best offensive linemen that i have seen in a long long time.. He ran a 4.9 40 the other day.

I agree he is a great offensive line prospect.....but isnt about the LAST thing scouts are concerned with in regards to a big LT prospect their 40yd dash time? About the only time an OL will run a 40yd dash in a game is if the QB happens to throw a pick..... but I get where you are going with the comment. He is extremely large and athletic. The type of OL prospect our team used to get.

Like I thought. Without Smith Bama is mediocre. We will punish them next season without Smith and then the world will be right again.

They lose 3 starters. Fluker is solid. Love is soft. Massie is not committed. Moses is a grades hazard.

They signed some good OL last year, Tyler Love specifically. Still, it won't be as good next year.

Both of Saban's classes had good OL in them and this year seems to be more of the same. No, Alabama will not have a line as good as this year but they will be good.

I think Massie ends up at Bama when it's all said and done, but it isn't over. Also, there is still the possibility he may not qualify again.
