Alabama players were 'tight' at the start of the Tennessee game

Saban hates NIL
Saban hates the tempo offense that Heupel and Kiffin like
Saban’s act of the old curmudgeon football genius act has run its course.
Saban needs to enter an assisted living facility for washed up coaches and take all of his former
“fetch it boy/analysts“ looking for rehab treatment in Tuscaloosa with him.

Of course Saban hates NIL. Everyone else gets to do what he was doing but in the open which will make his job harder.

Also the best part of the story is will Anderson admitting they had ANXIETY. The mighty Alabama Crimson Tide felt ANXIETY from playing the Tennessee Volunteers. If that doesn't tell you Tennessee is back I don't know what will.

Yup. We beat them between their ears before we beat them on the field.

Everyone here ripping this as an 'excuse' are missing the big point - we made big, bad, 6-time champ Alabama come out tight and anxious.

Think about that.

I'm not sure a higher compliment has been paid to the job Heupel has done here to this point.

Saban was out coached. Heupel forced bama to play his game. To me, that's why they tried to pass 3 times their final drive. They were caught up in that mindset that they had to absolutely score with us.

And if the coaches were tight or nervous, then the players pick up on it too.

It was glorious.

Isn't it nice to see our OPPONENTS wound up and playing tight early in games instead of us? Meanwhile we've already put up 21 points on em in the first quarter before they finally get settled in. The script has definitely flipped compared to the Pruitt/Butch and prior years. The Vols are a fun team to watch finally.

Alabama players were 'tight' at start of Tennessee game, Saban says

That's what Neyland Stadium can do to a team. I told my son (who is a GA fan :() that Bryce Young and the other young Bama players have never experienced the atmosphere of Neyland Stadium. He scoffed and said they played in the National Championship game last year. I told him they'll find out it's not the same.

Probably the first time " lack of chanting" has ever been used as an excuse for a loss. Bama needs a new chanting coordinator
