Without Young, I don't think bama will be able to take UGA down. Heaven help us UT fans who live in the land of dawg if they win back to back nattys. I'm gonna move. Can't stand the thought of a dawg dynasty. On a somewhat related note, Gibbs looks fantastic. What I wouldn't give to have him in our offense. Talk about picking your poison as a defensive coordinator. Whew.

I'd seen that view, but hadn't seen the pass attempt. Sure looks like he's torn something. Kid is a talent so it's not something you like to see despite him playing for bama. Wish him a speedy recovery.

Offense is important but look at the most recent NC games.

2014- OSU 42-20 over Oregon

2015- Bama 45-40 over Clemson

2016- Clemson 35-31 over Bama

2017- Bama 26-23 over UGA

2018- Clemson 44-16 over Bama

2019- LSU 42-25 over Clemson

2020- Bama 52-24 over OSU

2021- UGA 33-18 over Bama

So in the past 8 years the winning team has allowed the losing team to score 40 points once and 30 points once. Using actual stats, it says it’s still a defensive game.

2021 UGAs strength defense.
All the other teams listed the offense was the strength of the team. Maybe I’ll give you 2018 Clemson. That could be argued either way. Hasn’t been a defensive game in a long time my man. UGA just happened to have a once in a generation D last year. Nice try though. Yes, you at least need a pulse on defense but you can get away with having just an average to a over average one these days.

Game is well in hand. All but over so the refs are gonna toss some calls in there to make things look more "even" in the stats. Akin to makeup calls in basketball. Gives the illusion that it's a level playing field.

Yeah, “Alabama is the most penalized team in the entire world after they are up three scores”.

I think the Dawgs have this year and maybe the next tops to ease into natty’s.
