This SEC stuff is way overblown. The results of these games dont have nearly the effect people think. I see it similar akin to chanting "overrated" after winning a game. Makes no sense but whatever floats your boat.
You think Alabama got good because their conference foes were losing OOC games? They got good when they hired Nick Saban. Tennessee didn't start sucking because our conference foes started winning OOC games. Tennessee started sucking when Fulmer rested on his laurels and lost control of the team and then made a pair of bad hires.
The outcome of these OOC games dont have as much impact as some apparently think. If that were the case, how have so many different SEC teams won championships one after another? Tennessee's didn't preclude LSU, LSU didn't preclude Florida, Florida didn't preclude Alabama, Alabama didn't preclude Auburn.
People should cheer for whoever the hell they want for whatever reason they want. It makes zero bit of difference
