Alabama vs Oklahoma -Sugar Bowl

Uh, really? So, Bammer is laying down on national TV? Again?

I think they don't care about the sugar bowl. This team has won two titles in a row. They couldn't care less about a meaningless sugar bowl win. Its national title or bust for Bama just about every year here recently.

On the other hand, this is OU's super bowl. Esp with the way stoops always talks **** about the sec.

I guess that's as good an excuse as any.

OU might want it more. That was clearly why Utah beat Bama a few years ago. But this is more than just that. OU is playing really well

Don't feel bad for foster...were any of our rivals feeling bad for Palardy when he was struggling???

I'm not sure I buy the "Bama isn't interested" angle. They came out of the gate on fire like they did against Notre Dame last year, but instead of wilting, the Sooners punched them right back in the mouth, and kept the pressure on every time they got the ball. I don't think Bama was ready for a team to stand up to them like this.

Would anyone like to go back over that conversation we were having back during the Vol coaching hire, when I was told by 40 Vols fans that those "Big 12 spread offenses wouldn't work against the real speed of the SEC?"

Cause all I'm seeing is a Big12 "also ran" winning the SEC East with that spread offense, a Big12 "also ran" beating Bama on its home field in its first year in the conference with that spread offense, and now Oklahoma on pace to score 62 on the SECs best team with that offense. With a freshman running it.

Can someone remind me why hiring a guy like Butch who runs basically the same spread was a bad idea? Cause I'm not getting it.

This. Ou is playing good football. Maybe our sec gods don't really exists? Maybe other schools can play good football. We will see when FSU smacks around auburn.
