Tennessee is also one of the schools that voted against the 9 game conference schedule format.

The only schools that voted in favor of it were Florida, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, and Missouri.

But no one at Tennessee has preached for the 9 game schedule for the past several years.

My frustration with an 8 vs a 9 is that with the 8 game that mean our OOC is 1 Power 5 team and then 3 little sisters of mercy/directional misfits/Div 1A teams. Its frustrating to shell out money and time for hotel, food, etc.. to see us play a team that I wouldnt go see if they were in my same town. I'll take the 9 games even if that extra game was Mizz, SC, or whomever is in last place over Austin Peay, UTM, Citidel, or Samford. Look at the 3 this year - AP, UT San Antonio, and Uconn. 3 teams that wont see even a honorable mention in the rankings.

Then don't go to that game it's simple. And the fans that don't like it at least act like you know Tennessee voted for 8

You or your tickets aren't my concern. Stop complaining about things you can't control. You have many options but you just choose to complain. Call up to the Tennessee brass that voted for it and tell them how you feel.

Yep, and the UT administration supported his new decision. If I were on the playoff selection committee this year I would penalize any SEC team that is marginal for only playing 8 conference games.
