Alamo Bowl: #17 BYU at #23 Colorado

Isn’t it kinda odd that they picked two teams from the same conference to face each other in a bowl game?
The Alamo Bowl has tie-ins with the Big 12 and Pac 12. The Pac 12 went down to 2 schools; Oregon St wasn't bowl eligible and the Holiday Bowl took Washington St.

BYU up 20 - 0, but honestly the game doesn’t feel that close. The Buffs are very lucky they aren’t down by much more as they have been dominated by the Cougars. I don’t really care who wins, but I hope Colorado can make it a game just for us CFB fans that are willing to stay tuned.

I hope BYU wins 40-0.

That makes sense. Plus they managed to matchup two ranked teams, and Colorado always pulls a little extra viewership so I suppose that helps the bottom line. Although, at the moment Colorado isn’t playing like a ranked team.

It might end up being worse than that. 😂 Honestly, I just hope Hunter or Sanders doesn’t get injured in a game that they needn’t have played in.
Wrong, they should play in this game. Those others helped them get to where they are. They owe it to the team. If Hunter and Sanders weee underclassman and the Jrs/Sr. Sat out and got them destroyed, would that be fair? Either play the game or get rid of bowl season.

It depends on your point of view I suppose. I certainly respect that they decided to play and I’m glad that they did. My point is that I hope it doesn’t cost one of them.

But you can literally say that about any single game you play. I get it, I’m not hating on these kids because of money decisions. I’m disappointed because the culture of college football has went from TEAM to ME.

Transfer Portal…. CAM WARD today… wow dude sat at halftime once he got his record? There is no team in college football anymore. Just like ISU’s coach said today.

This game feels like a bunch of 25 year old men playing against some 90-95% developed 20 year olds

Any single game isn’t at all the same thing as this Bowl game.

I agree with you though that it’s gone from TEAM to ME and it disappoints me as well. It’s great to see two highly rated players make the decision to put the team first. It’s not common nowadays and it’s a breath of fresh air.

I joined this game late. Anyone heard Amari McNeil's name for Colorado tonight? Seems like he was fighting injuries some last year.

I see why this BYU QB had no scholarship offers coming out of HS. If they had a decent QB they would be up 45-7. #3 the backup is even worse somehow.
