I think Posey has the makeup to just as easily slide inside and be a guard in college.
Agreed...and i've heard people say the same about Kerbyson...
How bada** would this lineup be...
T: James / Clear
T: Richardson / Pair
G: Posey / Schoefield
G: Kerbyson / Fulton
C: Stone / Luatua
Not a far fetched 2-deep projection for 2012 huh?
I know, I know...you think Clear is Bama's to lose

Yep...need a D line to go with it though..
Pretty far fetched if you don't think Schofield will not be a starter in 2012. D Thomas will be a SR in 12 with 2 years as a starter.
If your point is about depth and talent though... I would agree completely. The guys you mentioned plus Thomas and even Hood and Revis with continued development will turn a weakness into a strength.
you forgot Dallas Thomas and Schofield. they will still be here in '12 and are both starters now. Thomas would be a Sr. and Schofield would be a Jr.
Not that position players, speed, playmakers etc. are not important but if we place 3-4 more impressively offered linemen in this class with Posey I personally think it will be the key to digging ourselves out of this .500 or worse wasteland we've been driven into.
The lines will be able to compete on both sides of the ball, and that would be a welcome change.
