Albany DE Jared Verse (transfer - FSU commit)

How is he a bust I see him playing most games and he makes catches… bowers is probably the best Freshman TE I’ve ever seen but I wouldn’t call Darnell a bust
Darnell Washington: 9 catches 145 yards
Princeton Fant: 16 catches, 220 yards

Darnell was a 5 star and the top TE in the country. Bust

Princeton Fant had 7 more catches and 75 more yards than he did this year. Fant averages 1.2 catches per game.

Edit: I swear I had not seen Bass' post.

He’s a bust relative to his expectations and going into year 3. Bowers being Witten Jr. didn’t help either.

FSU didn’t develop Johnson. UGA did. He was just behind a bunch of other studs. Went to a place where he could easily get on field and was who he always was. Kid was the top juco overall player. Not like he was a nobody. Yet their team still sucked. Meanwhile TN in year 1 of new coach shows development all along field. What Garner has done over his career is development. FSU has no direction/identity on either side of the ball and they are going into year 3…

UGA grossly underutilized weapons but he blocks pretty well I understand why y’all say it but i don’t look at him as a bust just yet especially with Covid and everything going on I’ll give some of these kids more Benefit of the doubt… Harrison Bailey included but my apologies for getting off topic Verse will be an instant impact type of player

This always happens with their players though and it goes back a long ways. Specifically Tight Ends and WRs. Bowers is the exception for sure. He’s just undeniably special. He would have been doing this anywhere he went. Washington needed a better system. At this point he’s just an extra OL. During his recruitment everyone here was saying this would happen to him. He still went there.

If only these kids actually used their brains in making these decisions

So is Verse going to reveal his choice today, or are we just hoping he reveals his choice today?
