I hope I am wrong and we get him. But not a great look to miss on a guy like this where we can guarantee immediate playing time and a path to the NFL from RG.

Every year we (myself included) get all upset over a particular recruit, thinking if we don't reel him in, we are doomed.

Sad part is many times we get said recruit and they fail to live up to the hype.

That being said I do really hope we get him because it seems he has all the tools to contribute right away..

Yep, after Brian Darden and OJ Owens (both can't miss) I try not to expect too much of any one recruit.

Not a good look for Verse if he picks a floundering coach and team over a coach who did more with less and has created genuine excitement around his team. Would definitely make me question the young man's decision-making skills.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts. A quote from Winston Churchill during a more trying time in history than the last 15 year or Vol football. We get bummed out over things we can’t control and fail to see that growth comes from failure. We will be ok not matter what this guy chooses to do. Also there are many more things to worry about than the destination of a 20 year old kid.
