My dad's family is from Detroit and the first MLB game I ever went to was in Tiger Stadium. Needless to say, I am pleased with this result. They are a close second to the Braves for me. I remember that some random guy offered to park our car that day at the stadium. Ah, Detroit...

It is better than the pity I saw in the faces of others when I wore my Braves hat Wednesday. It's amazing how much Cardinals gear is now on campus at UT or driving on Cumberland though.

I wear my Braves stuff Friday at the mall and I had someone mouth "sorry" to me. I just wanted to cry right there.

My first MLB game was in '95(The House That Ruth Built), David Cone was the starter, Donnie Baseball hit 2HR, and they were playing the Royals, IF my memory serves me correctly
