I don't see BG, not spending money. I also don't see him bar-room scrapping or it would have been news. So, if true, he must just get drunk and run his mouth.

I also heard of an altercation between BCG and the police chief inside a bar. Wasn't there, didn't see it. I am basically reporting hearsay in this thread. True or not, that's the word in Lexington.

Anthony Beatty (the Lex police chief) is asleep every night at 8:30p. This story is an urban legend.

Billy has one bar he typically frequents, and they cut him off...once. That didn't have the happiest of endings, but the police chief wasn't there.

Most of the buzz about BC is that he lives a "bachelor" lifestyle and that he lives in a 12,000 square foot house. I apologize to any of you with sensitivities, but if I was the head basketball coach at UK, was a bachelor, and lived in a 12,000 square foot house I would have a woman in every room.

The reporters in town say that Legion always appeared pretty content to them, and that this is being driven by his mom. The press hasn't necessarily been easy on BC, so if any of these rumours are true, and if he actually "chased" legion off, Tipton will have a spread in Sports Illustrated to tell us all about it. I assure you that the guys at the Lexington papers are not like the yes men that work at KNS.

Being an adherent of the "bachelor" lifestyle myself, I find it's often fun to have two women in the room.

Depends on my mood. I like a little variety. Sometimes, I just like to observe. Other times, I find being an active participant is the way to go.

It happened at De Sha's. Essentially, BCG was asked to leave and responded with something to the effect of, (hearsay) "Do you know who I am?" The police chief was there and responded by telling BCG who he was. My source knows the store manager and verified the story. Of course, if it were me on the witness stand, this post would be entirely inadmissible.

Another rumor from a reliable source: They got BCG a driver so he wouldn't get stopped anymore. After BCG was dropped off, he went back out in his own car and got stopped again. Kinda makes you wonder what happened to UK's alcohol policy, or at least the one that applied to the student-athletes. Either a bunch of untrue junk is getting spread around, or BCG will have a short stay in the Bluegrass.
