If you take this even deeper than her comment being ridiculous, you can get down to the core issues.

The money WF is providing is the depositor’s money not WF. WF lends / invest the money as wisely as possible to make a return on the rate provided to depositors at the highest margin possible. WF is on the hook for the depositor(since it is their money) not the oil company(drawn out in crayon by the CEO). If she is saying on a moral basis, then she needs to understand the banks do not pay up for moral issues.(CFPB is another totally separate issue)

Has anyone checked to see if she actually graduated with an economics degree? I find it hard to believe anyone who graduated with a degree in economics would not know this. People want to crap on Trump for statements(rightfully so) he makes which are false or just plain stupid, then you need to dump on this lady.
