I’m a moderate Democrat who said none of the above. We ran a horrible candidate and the results were Trump. It’s likely to be the same results in 2020 as the moderates no longer have a voice in the Democratic Party and hard left is unelectable in the general.

There’s no defection in my statement . The media pushes its agenda instead of reporting “ just facts “ ( there’s no shortage of examples ) . Yes I deny , as I’ve said before , what he said was racist . There’s no way it can be because Kamala Harris said the same thing to him and added for him to leave the White House and the left leaning media went silent . This was done right after the house voted to condemn Trumps words as racist so we know either Harris is racist or the House is virtue signaling , it can’t be both , which is it ? Well, it's cheaper than the cost of a closet in San Francisco...a bit more than the rent for a broken down VW van on a curb in LA...has nowhere near the crime rate of Chicago, Detroit, Philly, or any of the other leading liberal Democratic metropolitan Nirvanas...the sidewalks aren't littered with human waste and used needles...the politicians don't have their own wing at the state prison...and you can actually go downtown at night without being robbed, carjacked, harassed by panhandlers, or accosted by a strung-out junkie who gets free needles from the government.

Post his entire statement, instead of picking out the words that fit your narrative. He did call them out, but it had nothing to do with their race, it had to do with their words and their actions. That's not racist, it's holding someone accountable for what they said.

Funny how all of those college students thought the statement the President made about deporting illegal aliens was racist...until they found out it was Obama who said it, not Trump.

Because in our current society everyone is caught up in emotional responses. People aren't looking at what someone says, stepping back, analyzing the words/context/etc. and making an educated judgement. Instead they see only what they want to see through their partisan blinders and make a quick response with their emotions. Or they are so hell bent on their own feelings about someone that they are going to feel one way no matter what is said. The media understands this as well and feeds the fire of the emotionally charged on both sides.

We are in an age where logic is seemingly hardly ever used.
