My thoughts exactly. Unfortunate thing for America is Democrats are so stupid they will continue to vote for these idiots until it becomes intolerable to live there, then they will move to a red state/district and vote for the most moronic Democrat to start the process over again.

Rep. are either the weakest, p****** , no back bone having dolts, or blundering buffoons, or complicit and actively one in the same behind closed doors.

They are all the same party. And it's not one with balloons or cake. More the party where we end up chained up in some Eastern European dungeon.

Ok. If the average donation is $16.50 and donations above $200 are only required for reporting that skews the reporting %. So we can’t say for sure how much she received outside vs inside.

Regardless, I doubt her constituents weren’t happy with her, but then gave her a large amount of the vote for the primary.

It was never my point that she didn’t raise any money in-state or from her constituents. But, there’s been a LOT of money raised from outside NYC and out of New York.

AOC's seat was never in doubt, and I'm not sure why folks thought otherwise. The candidate that came closest to beating her was a former registered Republican and lived in Trump Tower last year. She cruised with an absolute overwhelming majority, and will destroy whatever GOP candidate gets lead to the slaughter against her in November.

She is arguably the most popular and influential progressive congressperson in the house right now. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that people outside of her district are donating to ensure she sticks around. I have donated to congressional campaigns outside my district.

The statement above is a perfect illustration of the horrible condition of American politics. This isn't partisan observation because there are examples in the right as well, it's sad when people who can't grasp basic concepts hold influence and power.

You don't have to have an Ivy League education or know everything to be a politician. Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan are perfect examples of that. Neither man was a certified genius but they were both excellent politicians and good presidents..

I agree, but she had zero in common with either. Just listen to her speak, she gets owned regularly in things it's her job to be aware of
