Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

so, we aren't being consistent with the standards held. at least we are consistent on that.

Is the consistency that it's funny to watch the other team suffer irrespective of how sh|tty the elected leader?

I'd say that @BowlBrother85 would be consistent in enjoying the tons of schadenfreude heaped on the Democrats for Mr. Art of the Deal.

Now you are starting to understand . It took you long enough to get it .
Trump literally made your party cry , scream at the sky , lay down in the streets and kick in the middle of a full blown temper tantrum and you are just now after 2 years figuring out why some of us like him ? I’d vote for him just to watch that again .
I would point out that the reactions to Cortez are more humor driven and less despair driven.

@05_never_again

This is what I'm talking about, this is the pendulum swinging the other way.
Polls like that are pointless. So 75% of left-leaning people "would consider" voting for her. It doesn't mean they actually would, and it doesn't mean she'd win the primary. I'm sure 75% of left-leaning people would consider voting for Bernie too.

Politicians who aren't running for president are more popular than politicians running for president. When Hillary was Sec of State and during that time between her Sec of State term and declaring a run for president, she had a favorable rating in the mid-60s. When the spotlight turns on you, that rating goes down, and in her case it got so low she couldn't even beat Trump. The really interesting thing about Hillary is that her favorable rating has continued to decline since the election, which usually doesn't happen. There almost always is some kind of rebound after a politician leaves the limelight - Carter, Dubya, etc.

Hillary Clinton Favorable Rating at New Low

Cool story but the pendulum is swinging, you can dismiss her all you want at your own peril. Rational people should be deeply concerned.

Her idiocy has been funny at times. With her being elected, how fringe the left has become, and the support she has from liked minded idiots it is a little scary.

You have no idea how ironic this post is.

Perspective is a funny thing.

I would not just laugh her off and call her a joke, she is a loon and ignorant but this is where the left is headed and in a fast way. Don't underestimate these anti American people. This is the new dem base

This is a very underrated post. :p The Truth is in the pudding as they say.

The pendulum is broken because it's swinging both ways. The left is moving further left and teh right is moving further right.
It is, like, defying the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics... like a super-perpetual motion machine.

Might not end well for this particular constitutional republic.

The citizens of Alabama are so grateful that AOC brought the ringworm crisis to our attention. Sad that billionaires have stolen our ringworm cream. Hearing lots of survival stories today.
I won't be driving through Alabama anymore on the way to the Florida Panhandle. Afraid of catching ringworm.
