Most of those within this forum have the basic understanding of their budgets on a weekly or a monthly basis. Even though it's on a much larger scale, this concept is lost among those at the Federal level. You either have the funds available to spend or make the necessary changes within your budget to allow for that expense.

Our current situation resembles that of someone given a credit card with no limit, no understanding of the consequences from irresponsible use and no plan on how to pay it back. Republicans and Democrats both.

Journalism or communications degree means you have been trained how to write an article (average newspaper is written at a high school level) or look good in front of a camera while reading words off a screen. It doesn't mean you know a damn thing about what you're actually talking about.

True investigative journalism that asks questions and challenges things is extremely rare.

Our current situation requires those same people who you believe understand money to control to vote for others who don't. If they truly understood what was happening then how to they support people who don't?

Also should check your stats on how many people truly understand budgeting on a personal level. Doubtful this forum is really much different than the norm in the US

Not meant to be offensive, PJ, but I've never seen you lighten up and joke around. Admittedly, I don't cyberstalk you and I haven't read all 69000 of your posts, but you always come across as so serious. It's okay to laugh sometimes.

Why are you and others so concerned with how I post? There are some who follow me around on here they're so butthurt about it. That gets old really, really fast (and has for a long time)

I'm simply discussing the topic of the thread. Every thread doesn't have to become some off-topic mess

Just because you don’t think it’s funny doesn’t mean we don’t . Like you said it is the topic of the thread . I happen to think the memes and goofy sayings of a congressman that the leader of the DNC said was the new face of the party , are hillarious .

If you can get the money out of politics and hit the reset button, then the citizens can begin to see real results.

There are stats for budgeting? Most of the understanding should come from common sense and the very basic of math skills, i.e. addition and subtraction. This forum included and from my time here being an active member, most here can grasp that.
