I don't know the answer, but against Uconn, who had better numbers, Morrow or JH?

It’s clear what you’re trying to get at.. I don’t know the answer either so what were Horston numbers against Texas, Georgia, Ole Miss, Kentucky, etc?
Word is JH basically averaged a Dbl / Dbl against ranked opponents..

Not trying to get at anything rebel, I was asking a question. Did you get your education in Mississippi? Because that would explain a lot.

USBWA announced their All American Selections. There's some remarkable consistency thus far between them, AP and Naismith with mostly the same players. Here, Angel Reese and Veronica Burton were cut to make room for Destanni Henderson. WBCA is the last major agency to report their team, and I doubt we'll see any names that haven't come up on the selections released thus far for their 10-player team.

First Team
Aliyah Boston, South Carolina
Caitlin Clark, Iowa
Naz Hillmon, Michigan
Rhyne Howard, Kentucky
NaLyssa Smith, Baylor

Second Team
Elissa Cunane, N.C. State
Ashley Joens, Iowa State
Haley Jones, Stanford
Ayoka Lee, Kansas State
Aneesah Morrow, DePaul

Third Team
Cameron Brink, Stanford
Destanni Henderson, South Carolina
Elizabeth Kitley, Virginia Tech
Khayla Pointer, LSU
Maddy Siegrist, Villanova

I’m not into cherry picking like that. Horston played all season in an incredibly difficult conference. Are you willing to say the Big East is even close to the SEC as far as competition goes?

It’s easy to get up for the one good team in your conference. It’s exhausting playing in the SEC. Any team can beat the other on any given night.

Just like we saw with Auburn and y’all saw with MIZZOU.

No doubt, never questioned any of that.

Anyone genuinely shocked that Horston wasn't named an All-American is wearing some ridiculously thick oversized orange glasses...
On the other WBB boards that have been on has this same topic, Houston not being on one of the teams hasn't been mentioned.

I posted the AA teams from the AP, Naismith, USBWA and Sports Illustrated, and they are in agreement with at least 13 of the 15 players (with the same three players - Burton, Henderson, Reese - debated).

That's because absolutely no one outside of orange fantasy land even sees her as a fringe All-American, hence the reason she was on none of the teams...

I’d have put her on there over both Big East selections and Burton. They have good numbers, but in that conference it’s easy to see why.

Level of competition still matters to me.
You never replied to the question of what amount of discount would you apply to the BE vs. the Power 5 Conferences given the "level of competition" is so vital to you?

I looked it up on the two major mathematical sites, Massey and RT-RPI, and it is roughly 13-16%. So take the DePaul frosh stats which voters look at the most, practically obsessively, PPG and RPG and discount by 15%. Her stats are still excellent and she still deserves AA.

Big East sucks. Get on back to the boneyard.
