I think it's cool that Boise State has had an unusual turf color for almost 40 years, over half of which they were the only school in the country to do so. The wow factor diminishes every time another school goes with a crazy color, but when we're talking all of the new adopters, none of which get any national buzz whatsoever, I can kind of see why they'd go for it.

It's not black enough. If you're gonna make a black field, it should be like a black hole. It should almost literally absorb light. Kinda looks black with gray highlights already. Average Sept 15 temp is high 71 and low 52. And by Oct 1st about 10 degrees cooler.
