All I can say is ND wasn't meant to win that game, lmao

Nearly every pundit I've heard said it was a great game resultant of awful defense on both sides.

I forgot to mention that the game was completely inconsequential at both the conference and the national level.

I wish people would quit calling games with absolute garbage for defense "great". And I am not one of those guys that loves boring 11-5 scores either. Great games are when teams loaded with playmakers on both sides of the ball slug it out. Kind of like those old Steeler-Cowboys Super Bowls.

I'm getting tired of hearing all the puffing up of the ND/Michigan game and Denard Robinson.

No, that game is not one of the greatest in college football history.

No, Denard Robinson is not a good QB. He completed less than half of his passes and had 3 picks. From what I saw, his basic strategy is throwing the ball up for grabs deep downfield and hoping for the best. If he had faced a defense that isn't complete garbage, he would have had even more picks.

And, no, Denard Robinson should not be in the talk about the Hypesman Trophy.

It was a great finish, if you like games that finish with a flourish of points, because of bad defense.

But you are right, this was not great football.

Denard will probably will his second straight September Heisman this year. That makes 3 Straight for michigan when you add in Taint Forcier the year before that.

I was listening to Sports Radio in Detroit yesterday and they were commenting on how the only reason Denard is the QB is because they could not afford for him to transfer if they named someone else the starter.

Pretty valid. They have had a ton of transfers in the last couple years. And DR thinks he is a QB. Great football player, but sucks throwing the ball. And unless this is 1975, that does not make a great QB.

This will be interesting to watch. They go to MSU on Oct 15th. Look for Denard to lose the heisman hype that day.

ND was up 17 points and had a sure 3 points if the qb doesn't pull a Tony Romo. It just seems destined for them to lose. Both games they should have won by 20 plus but they got the bad bounce at the exact right time. That messes up a college team especially once it happens twice. Last yr when we played UGA we were deflated from the week before at LSU. These first two weeks have sapped ND confidence. Believe me. MSU should come out and open up 14-0 then Kelly will lose it.

Who's to say right now. Usc has much more talent paper, and a team on a postseason ban can go out like they've got nothing to lose any given week and curb stomp somebody.

By that time ND will be so beat down the will be ready to fold. Sometimes games set the tone for the season. Or should I say two games? We have a pattern!! :loco:
