I know that it is for a good cause and I respect it but I personally do not like it. Do you? Seems like we could and should honor the victims in a different way.

I am sick of it as well. My sister is a survivor of breast cancer so it is not like i am being insensitive just tired of it. And fyi the colors they are wearing are the wrong breast cancer colors. It is a light pink. Love you sis.

it's gotten so bad that the Komen Foundation will sue anybody who dares use pink in their advertising

Victims? It's breast cancer awareness month. I've already gotten use to the splashes of pink here and their. Not as big of a deal (seeing players wearing accessories) as it was last year.

I guess a simple pink bow sticker on the helmet or patch on the jersey wouldn't be enough.

I don't mind it at all actually. I guess I'm in the minority in this thread, but who cares? With some of the ass-ugly retro jerseys they've thrown on the past few years, meh.

I'm a fan of boobs, so if grown men wearing pink helps save ta-tas consider me a fan of that, as well.

Not a big fan. A whole freaking month? It's too much. Raising awareness for an affliction that everybody already knows about seems kind of silly to me.

I agree, Billy. I propose topless cheerleaders. That would raise my awareness.

Hate the PINK, but having lost my dad to cancer I appreciate the fact the NFL helps with its awareness and need for a cure

When do we get Prostate Cancer Awareness month? Oh wait, we don't.

It's just a ploy by the NFL to get more women viewers and better league publicity. "Oh, that's sweet, they put pink on their uniforms for Breast Cancer Awareness. That's a nice thing by the NFL."

Don't have a problem with it, but it's just the NFL trying to boost it's popularity. Just my opinion.

Interesting. I never thought about it from that angle...

If the breast cancer awareness stuff was was limited to one week, it would be fine, but players wear pink shoes and gloves and other accents all year long.

They're allowed to wear them for all of October, most of the shoes and gloves are only worn the first weekend of October.

The league mandates the pink Captains' patches and the pink Gatorade bench towels for the entire month.
